Fruity Fritters for Kids

You
will need:
Equipment
cutting board
knife
grater
citrus juicer with jug
medium mixing bowl
wooden or plastic spoon
non-stick frying pan
spatula or egg slice
plate for serving
dishcloth and teatowel for cleaning
up!
Ingredients
1
cup self-raising flour
1
apple (peeled if you prefer)
Juice
of 1 or 2 oranges
Oil
for cooking
Grate
apple.
Cut
oranges in half, and squeeze for juice.
Combine
all ingredients in a mixing bowl.
Place
a non-stick frying pan over medium heat.
Brush
a little oil on to the frying pan.
Using
a dessertspoon, place the mixture in small circles on the pan.
Allow
to cook until bubbles appear on the surface.
Turn
with a spatula. Cook until golden.
Serve
warm.
Hint: try a peeled, sliced banana, grated carrot,
grated pear, or ½ cup crushed pineapple as a change.
