Mandarin and Berry Crumble

Cooking: 10-15 minutes

Serves 4

4 mandarins, peeled and segmented

1 cup frozen berries, raspberries, strawberries, blue berries or mixed berries

¼ cup water

¼ cup sugar

1 tblspn honey or maple syrup

1 cup natural muesli or a combination of rolled oats, nuts and dried fruit.

Preheat oven to 180°C. Place the water and sugar in a medium saucepan over low

 heat. Cook, stirring, until sugar dissolves.

 Increase heat to medium and bring to the boil. Add the mandarin and frozen

berries stirring occasionally until heated through.

Spoon mandarin mixture among four 125ml (1/2 cup) capacity ramekins or a two

cup ovenproof dish. Place dishes on a baking tray.

Combine the muesli and honey or maple syrup  in a bowl. Sprinkle the mandarin

mixture with muesli mixture. Bake in preheated oven for 10-15 minutes or until

muesli is toasted.

Remove from oven and serve immediately.
